When will the TAT7 case iPhone 5 be available?

Is it easy to assemble and use?

  1. Assembly time in under 10 seconds
  2. Place all 5 items individually on the table; Shell – Cap – Lock – Wrist Strap – Your iPhone 4/4S
  3. Inspect the TAT7 Case ensuring it is dirt free and in good condition
  4. Confirm that the seals on the cap are properly aligned
  5. All buttons return to original position after being depressed
  6. Remove your iPhone 4/4S from any protective case
  7. With the shell and its buttons facing up, insert the top side of your iPhone 4/4S face up
  8. Now with the iPhone 4/4S fully inserted, push the cap in all the way such that the notches align
  9. Slide the lock through the notches
  10. Snap on the wrist strap to the lock so that the lock does not slip out of the notch
  11. At this point, the assembly is complete and your iPhone 4/4S should remain dry and protected

How do I maintain the TAT7 case?

  1. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water after each use
  2. Do not bend or crush
  3. Do not clean with solvents such as gasoline or oil
  4. Avoid prolonged exposure to excessive heat
  5. Store in a cool dry environment
  6. Relubricate the o-rings & buttons with silicone grease regularly, and always inspect the seals after you close the case

What are your shipping rates and when will I receive my order?

Once we have successfully received your order, we will ship your package within two (2) business days using either FedEx or DHL. Will the TAT7 case work with other smartphones?

Currently the TAT7 case is specific to the iPhone 4 & iPhone 4S.

Will the TAT7 case work with future iPhones?

Additional steps to be taken by iOS 5.1 / iOS 6.0 users.

1. Put your iPhone into NEVER sleep mode.

This prevents your iPhone from going to sleep when placed inside the TAT7 case.

Settings > General > Auto-Lock > Never


2. Move the camera app / icon to the bottom right of the iPhone static bar.

This enables you to re-access the camera app in case the Home button is pressed.

3. Start the camera app on your iPhone then insert iPhone into the TAT7 case.

How can I dabble with underwater stop motion and time-lapse recording?

One of the reason why iPhones is a popular choice is because of its thriving app developer community.

 

You have to check out this interesting app (free) which allows for underwater stop motion and time lapse recording. Frame X Frame (FXF by joby).

Can the TAT7 case go beyond 30 meters (100 feet)?

Our case is made of high density polycarbonate and can withstand underwater pressures up to 30 meters. Although we have tested it slightly beyond 30meters, we do not recommend it.

 

We have designed to 30 meters because it is where the majority of recreational divers decend to. Beyond 25 meters, additional lighting would be required to capture decent images. Also, majority of the colourful marine life are found at 15 to 20 meters depths.

 

Should you require a case for use beyond 30 metes, we recommend a case by Patima. The developers claim that the case works to depths of 300 meters.

Perform waterproof test prior to use!! Test your case without products inside

  1. Insert tissue paper in case, close and seal
  2. Submerge the case for several minutes
  3. Remove and open the case to verify that tissue paper is dry
